CHOCOLATE RECIPES



Hand Dipped Choc Dreams


Requirements:
100g melted milk, dark and white chocolate
Marzipan Fondant filling: peppermint, orange, lemon, coffee, butterscotch or strawberry
Brazil nuts
Glazed ginger pieces
Turkish delights
Paper cases
A dipping spoon
A fork
Wax paper

Method:
Clear a working space next to your pot of chocolate and put down your piece of wax paper. Gently melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Roll the marzipan and fondants into small balls and put aside. Take the wrappers off the Turkish delight sweets. Place one item at a time on your dipping spoon and lower it into your pot of chocolate. When the marzipan/nut/ginger/candy has been totally submerged in chocolate lift it out of the pot and tap the dipping spoon gently against the side of the chocolate pot for all the excess chocolate to pour off back into the pot. Then place the dipped item onto the wax paper to set. When all the chocolates have set you can drizzle a contrasting chocolate over their tops by dipping a fork into melted chocolate and shaking it from side to side over the hand dipped chocolates. Your Hand Dipped Chocolate Dreams are now complete. Place each chocolate into a paper case and then into an attractive presentation box.
