Italian Kisses


Requirements:
1 Italian kiss chocolate mould
250g Milk chocolate Ice cream

Method:
Gently melt the milk chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. Now pour your chocolate into the Italian kiss shapes in the mould and fill them to the top. Leave the chocolate to cool. When the chocolate has cooled enough you will see that it has set around the edges of the kisses. When the border around the edges is about 2mm thick you can empty the rest of the chocolate back into the pot. This will leave you with hollowed out chocolate Italian kisses. Now place the mould into the freezer for about three minutes to set. Remove from freezer. Now three-quarter fill each chocolate kiss with softened ice cream and put the mould back into the freezer to allow the ice cream to harden. When the ice cream has hardened pour a thin layer of chocolate over the top of the ice cream to seal your Italian kisses. Place back in the freezer for five minutes to set. When your kisses have set remove them from the mould and store them in a container in the freezer till you are ready to serve them.
